| The Sport Fishing Association Gol Jeger og Fiskeforening divides its fishing lakes on Søråsen into three areas with a total of 26 lakes. All the lakes are free from minnow. In area 3, including Rukrtjøtni, the average weight is approx. 600g. Ruketjern sør is an enjoyable fishing lake with quite a lot of small fish. Area 2, including Kroktjern, Mattismo and Langevann, offers great scenery and nice, fat fish in the category +/- 1 kg. Area 1, including Veikultjern, Dyretjern and Runda, has rich fishing opportunities and a good mix of fish of about 500 gram. All the lakes have a healthy population of trout, but Nedre Trytetjern also has perch, and Opsaltjern has whitefish. Facts: Season: 1. January to 20. September Permitted equipment/methods: Fihing with a rod from the shore using spinner, spoon, worm, and fly, Icefishing. Fly fishing: maximum 3 suspentions permitted. Only one rod at a time. Fishing from boat, including belly-boat, and fishing with minnow, is prohibited in all lakes.
