Golsfjellet - the family's favourite mountain
| Golsfjellet is a family friendly mountain area with a grand view of Hallingskarvet, Skogshorn, Gaustadtoppen and Jotunheimen and more than 150 km of well prepared ski tracks. The ski tracks start at the different accommodation businesses, the cabin-and farm areas, plus at several parking areas for one-day visitors. Also situated on Golsfjellet is the Storefjell Ski-and sledding centre , providing families with more high-speed activities. This is a good starting point for those who wish to combine alpine and cross-country skiing. Golsfjellet is the mountain plateau between Gol, Hemsedal and Valdres. Warming cabins: • Golsfjellet Alpinsenter-Bualie is open in weekends and winter/easter holiday 10-16 • Jondalen warmingcabins on Syno is open in weekends and winter/Easter holidays, for openings; call Endre Jondalen Tel 9057 7577 • Red Cross Lavvo open during Easter Apr16-25. • 4 Self-service barbeque-lodge in the skitracks is open all year Veslefjell, Storefjell, Einarset and Solseter.
